Alsalaam Alaikum

I pray you are all well and in the best of health and iman iA

The Prophet saw told us that wrongdoing will become manifold darkness on the day of judgmenet, and here wrongdoing is interpreted as not fulfilling the rights of others I have been thinking a fair bit recently about trusts and responsibility, given the great volume of activity and work that has recently been completed (well done on the NUS front and apologies for the very late response!) and that which has yet to be completed before the end of this FOSIS term. It’s nice to know that when there are lots to do that we can all pull together for His cause.

I feel like I have been particularly fortunate - or a nuisance depending on which way you look at it - 'cos im constantly asking various members of the federation for help and advice and whilst I have been on the exec I have never really been left to stand on my own two feet.

Now I have a trust to uphold in leading the conference team, and I would like to request everyone's dua that this is not only a success but that it makes up for last yr iA. If I pester you along the way - please bear with me - and if for any reason i become snappy please do offer me nasiha cos stress/pressure is not an excuse and the last thing I want to do is offend or hurt anybody.

The Prophet once asked his Companions, *"Do you know who is the
bankrupt?"*The Companions said, "A bankrupt is the one who has neither dirham (money*)* nor wealth." The Prophet said,* The bankrupt of my Ummah is he who would come on the Day of Judgment with prayers, fasting, and zakah; but who had offended one person, slandered another, devoured others' wealth, shed the blood of this person, and beat that person.* (Muslim)

Each one of these people would be given some of the wrongdoer's good deeds. If his good deeds fall short of settling the account, then their sins will be taken from their accounts and thrown into his account, and he would be thrown in the Hellfire.

May Allah keep us steadfast and united

Jazakum Allah Khair
