Head of Finance Blog- August 2009

Assalamu Alaykum,
 
All praise is to Allah SWT, the merciful, the most wise, and our peace and blessings on his final messenger, Muhammad SAW.
I pray that this blog finds you in the best of health and Iman, and that you are fully utilising these precious day of Ramadan.
 
Alhamdulilah the past month has seen some very important events, starting with the formation of the new finance committee, the first of its kind in the history of our organisation, as it contains a whole national team alongside the team of regional treasurers, who will be taking care of the national projects of the committee and introducing a whole array of new ones, so keep a look out insha’allah.

This month also saw the ending of the proposal submission deadline, as in January last year the finance committee will have a great role in assessing the feasibility of the proposed projects, and the execution of the projects from the financial side.

The Freshers’ Packs project is still looking positive this year alhamdulilah, the packs will be sent out to ISoc’s up and down the country during the next few weeks ending several months of hard work from a team of dedicated individuals masha’allah, so please do not forget them in your du’a.
