Asalamu alaykum.

Ramadan, what a blessed month! It's a month of growing in our spiritual connection with God. However, for ISocs and FOSIS, it's also a busy month of preparing for Freshers and the new academic year .

The past few months, Freshers Packs have been my priority. Although faced with a short time frame, everyone in FOSIS pulled together to make it a successful project. From the brothers and sisters who helped find sponsorship, to those who help secure good content, to those who spent 3 days travelling the UK in a van delivering them - may Allah bless you all.

I'm looking forward to slowly getting the project up and moving for next year.

The Quran is an amazing book, and it is great to have some time to spend reading, reciting and listening to the Quran in abundance. I am truly dreading the end of Ramadan, and I pray Allah allows the spirit of Ramadan and the Quran to stay with us throughout our whole life.
