Asalamoalaikum

Belated Eid Mubarak!

During November we were grateful to have James Yusuf Yee tour Scotland where he visited Edinburgh University, Strathclyde University and Dundee University. This was taken on very last minute, nevertheless MashAllah even though Isocs had as little as 2 days notice the tour went ahead successfully. The talks were an eye opener and well received by those present. Brother Yusuf also got to see some parts of Scotland and sample (proper) fish & chips and of course Irn-Bru J

Later on in the month, a group from Scotland consisting of myself and representatives from 4 Isocs attended National Council in Nottingham. Despite the epically long drive (during which we are happy to report zero felonies were committed…of course…) the brothers had a chance to meet Isocs from across the country and take part in the elections.

Lastly, I would like to thank on behalf of Scotland our beloved brother Shuaib who is sadly leaving, his hard work and advice has played a huge part in helping FOSIS Scotland become more successful. May Allah reward him for his efforts and help him move on to bigger and better things.
