Islamic Societies Coordinating Committee: Quran Competition Team – Treasurer
The Quran Competition Team is looking for a Treasurer who will work with the team to find sponsors to cover all the costs of the Quran competition, but also to widely advertise it. The Quran Competition Team is looking for a Jury Officer who will work with the team to compile a list of Qaris* and then decide which one FOSIS could invite depending on the travel expenses, honorariums and prestige of the Qaris. Media Committee - General Secretary
The successful applicant will be liaising directly with the Head of Media and would be involved in overseeing the activities of the media committee. During the course of the position, it is expected that the candidate will have increased their exposure to working in the media. The candidate will be at the forefront of all the activities of the media committee and will develop relationships with both Muslim and non-Muslim media organisations. Communications Committee – IT Team: IT Software Developer
The FOSIS IT Team is looking for a Software Developer to support and develop applications for a volunteer organisation in order to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the organisation. You will need to have knowledge in two of these programming languages: (C#.NET or VB.NET), ASP.NET, Java, PHP and SQL (possibly open to other programming languages), and able to commit for 12 months to this role.
