WHO?

Speakers

  • Dr Hany El-Banna OBE - founder of Islamic Relief - the largest Western based international Muslim relief and development NGO, President of the Humanitarian Forum and Chairman of the Muslim Charities Forum.
  • Sheikh Abdal Hakim Murad (TBC) - He is currently Secretary of the Muslim Academic Trust (London) and Director of the Sunna Project at the Centre of Middle Eastern Studies and the Shaykh Zayed Lecturer of Islamic Studies at Cambridge University
  • Mufti Muhammad ibn Adam Al-Kawthari - Director and researcher at the Institute of Islamic Jurisprudence at Darul Iftaa. Board Member of the Al-Qalam Shari’ah Scholars Panel and an Advisory Member of the Islamic Medical Ethics Forum (IMEF). He is also a Shari’ah Advisor for Habib Bank AG Zurich, UK - Islamic Banking department.
  • Bashir Timol - Trustee of 1st Ethical Charitable Trust, which encourages a British Muslim identity which is faithful to traditional Islamic orthodoxy and also in tune with British cultural norms and values.
  • Tre Azam - radio host, star of BBC Apprentice & self made entrepreneur.
